The Galaxy Tab 8.9 is like the bigger Galaxy Tab 10.1. they both share all the features except for the screen size (8.9-inch 1280x800 pixels) and the SoC (Qualcomm Snapdragon dual core processor clocked at 1.5GHz).
There is the 1GB RAM, Android 3.2 Honeycomb, Samsung's own Touchwiz user interface, a 3.2-megapixel rear and two megapixel front facing camera, and the whole tablet is only 8.6mm thick.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 runs Android's 3.1 operating system (Honeycomb) on a dual core 1GHz processor, and is as zippy as you'd expect a good tablet to be. No problems there. One slightly annoying issue, though: In interacting with Android's touch interface, whenever I tapped on a webpage link, more often than not, I was redirected to a page I didn't originally intend to go to
